The Texas Rangers try to clinch the first World Series championship in the history of their franchise Thursday night in Game 6 of the 2011 World Series (8:05 p.m./FOX) at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Texas will pitch Colby Lewis against Jaime Garcia of St. Louis.
Game 6, of course, was posponed on Wednesday by the forecast of heavy rain in St. Louis.
Lewis is 4-1 record with a 2.22 ERA over the past two post-seasons.
The Rangers, of course, have now been in the World Series two consecutive years after never making it to the Fall Classic previously. A season ago, Texas was beaten in five games by the San Francisco Giants.
