BCS Week 8 Rankings: LSU and Alabama On Top, West Virginia In Top 15

The Big East continues to get snubbed by the BCS ranking system this week with only West Virginia receiving honors. There were some concerns that the loss to Syracuse would cause the Mountaineers to drop out of not just the top 15, but the top 25 overall. Cincinnati and Rutgers surprisingly are omitted despite better records in both the conference and overall. 

The BCS ranking system continues to love Boise State who have an incredibly weak schedule and Texas who haven't been able to pick up a win over a ranked opponent. Hopefully with the Big East teams playing well, they'll get some love from the system in the upcoming weeks.
