Super Bowl XLV: Maurkice Pouncey, Aaron Smith Of Steelers Questionable

The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially listed center Maurkice Pouncey (ankle) and defensive end Aaron Smith (torn tricep) as questionable to play in Super Bowl 45 against the Green Bay Packers. Pouncey and special teamer Will Allen (knee) did not participate in practice for the Steelers this week, while Smith has been limited.

The Steelers list CB Bryant McFadden (abdomen), S Troy Polamalu (achilles), WR Emmanuel Sanders (foot), T Jonathan Scott (ribs) as probable for the Super Bowl matchup. Scott did not participate in any of Pittsburgh’s practices this week.

Green Bay listed linebackers Erik Walden (ankle) and Frank Zombo (knee) as questionable. The Packers listed LB Desmond Bishop (ankle), T Chad Clifton (neck), LB A.J. Hawk (knee), WR Greg Jennings (knee), C Jason Spitz (calf) as probable.

Clifton, Hawk, Jennings and Zombo did not participate in Friday’s Packers practice.

Oddsmakers still have Green Bay listed as a 2.5-point favorite to defeat the Steelers for the Lombardi Trophy.
