A pair of NBA games highlight your New York area sports on television for this first Monday of the NFL offseason for everyone who is a New York football fan. That, of course, since the New York Jets are no longer in the hunt for the 2011 Super Bowl.
↵Anyway, tonight both local NBA squads are in action. The New Jersey Nets are hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers (7 p.m. ET, YES). The Nets are seeking their 13th victory, which would eclipse their total from a year ago. The woeful Cavaliers might be a good opponent to get that against. The Knicks host the Washington Wizards (7:30 p.m. ET, MSG). The Knicks have lost six straight.
↵The New York Rangers are in Washington tonight to face the Capitals (7 p.m. ET, Versus).
↵Big East Conference basketball fans can watch Pittsburgh host Notre Dame at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
