Jay Cutler tossed and ran for two touchdowns to lead the Chicago Bears past the Seattle Seahawks, 35-24, in the NFC Divisional playoff game at Soldier Field. The Bears (12-5) will now host the Green Bay Packers (10-6) in the NFC Championship (3 p.m. on FOX).
The last time Chicago played in a NFC title game was in 2006 when the Bears defeated the New Orleans Saints, 39-14. The Bears then lost to the Indianpolis Colts in Super Bowl XL, 29-17.
Cutler finished with 15-of-28 with 274 passing yards. Teammate and running back Matt Forte ran for 80 yards. The Bears, which began the game with 28-unanswered points, finished with 437 total yards.
The Seahawks (8-10) scored three fourth-quarter TDs but were never within striking distance. Quarterback Matt Hassellbeck tossed for 258 yards and three TDs.
