NFL Playoff Schedule 2011: Ravens At Steelers Kicks Off Divisional Round

The divisional round of the NFL playoffs kicks off Saturday (4:30 p.m. ET, CBS) with a titanic meeting between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers, each of whom finished the regular season 12-4.

Odds Shark has the homestanding Steelers listed as 3.5-point favorites to advance to the AFC title game. The winner will meet the winner of Sunday’s New York Jets vs. New England Patriots matchup.

SB Nation’s Steelers website, Behind the Steel Curtain, and its Ravens website, Baltimore Beatdown, have been cranking out the stories all week in anticipation of the game.

Apparently, Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hates playing the Ravens. Beatdown offers a simple, yet hard to execute game plan for Baltimore. Behind The Steel Curtain figures this game is epic enough to deserve its own Roman numeral. BTSC also says the Steelers are hoping the No. 2 seed in the AFC works for them as well this time as it did in 2008.
