New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis strained his left hamstring in Sunday's 28-14 victory over the New England Patriots according to ESPN New York's Rich Cimini.
"I pulled up," Revis said about the injury that occurred while trying to defend Randy Moss. "Usually I rely on my speed ... but it wouldn't let me speed up to make a play."
Revis, who was involved in a long holdout this offseason, wouldn't rule himself out of Sunday's game in Miami but also said it's likely he'll miss one to two weeks and that he won't return to the team until he's 100 percent.
If he does indeed miss this week's game against Miami, the sentiment seems to be that it'd make sense to rest the following week against Buffalo and their nonexistent aerial attack as well.
