The New York Mets are not having a good year -- again -- but life appears to be good if your name is Omar Minaya.
The New York Post reports that Mets principal owner Fred Wilpon said Minaya will return as the team's general manager next season.
Minaya is apparently a nice guy, but to me keeping him around as the Mets continue to go nowhere is just telling the fan base you are perfectly willing to accept mediocrity.
