- The Turk is coming! The Turk is coming! In fact, for the New York Jets he has already arrived. The Jets cut veteran wide receiver Laveranues Coles Sunday as they trimmed their roster to 75 players. The deadline for NFL teams to do that is Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET. ↵
- The New York Giants have not cut anyone yet, but coach Tom Coughlin might want to cut everybody after Saturday's disappointing effort in a 24-10 loss to Baltimore. Big Blue View hands out this week's 'Kudos & Wet Willies'. ↵
- Rookie Ivan Nova earned his first major-league victory as the New York Yankees defeated the Chicago White Sox, 2-1, Sunday. With their rotation falling apart, the good work from Nova was a welcome sight for the Yankees. ↵
- The New York Mets defeated the Houston Astros, 5-1. Not that it matters, just figured I'd mention it. ↵
