Manning Says 'Nothing Special' About Helmet

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning can wear a helmet again.

Manning swapped the baseball cap he has sported since he needed 12 stitches to close a cut on his forehead sustained during a preseason game against the New York Jets, for his helmet during Wednesday’s practice.

“Nothing special about it,” Manning said. “No new padding or anything. Just a little different helmet. Something with the chinstrap, buttoned a little different than I used to just to ensure it’s on tight.”
