  • The New York Yankees Tuesday showed home run happy Jose Bautista and the Toronto Blue Jays that they know how to hit the long ball, too. The Yankees bashed five home runs, two by Mark Teixeira, in an 11-5 thrashing of the Jays. See Pinstripe Alley for more.

  • Luis! Our hero! That's Luis Castillo, the oft-maligned New York Mets second baseman, of course. Castillo singled in the winning run in the ninth inning as the Mets rallied for a 6-5 victory over the Florida Marlins.

  • Today is the day, Jets fans. Tim Cowlishaw of the Dallas Morning News has stubbornly been reporting for days that the Jets would sign holdout cornerback Darrelle Revis today. So, the clock is ticking. And the rumors are flying. Who will be right -- Cowlishaw or everyone else who can't confirm his reports? See Gang Green Nation.

  • Another day of practice, another shuffle of linebackers for the New York Giants. This time, it was Keith Bulluck moving from the middle to the strong side. There is only one guarantee with the Giants defensive alignment -- it will use 11 players. See Big Blue View for more.

  • Apparently, the NHL still does not like the deal proposed between the New Jersey Devils and Ilya Kovalchuk. It seems the sides have been turned away again by the league.
