Flushing, NY (Sports Network) – Luis Castillo’s RBI single in the ninth gave the New York Mets a 6-5 win over the Florida Marlins in the opener of a three- game set.
With Will Ohman (0-2) on the mound, Ike Davis singled to start the frame. After Jeff Francoeur flied out, Josh Thole singled to put Davis in scoring position. After Mike Hessman struck out, Castillo punched a single to right and Davis easily scored for the win.
