If you’re to believe Jason LaCanfora of NFL.com, Tuesday was not a great day in the ongoing contract extension saga between Darrelle Revis and the New York Jets. In a tweet early Tuesday evening, LaCanfora had this to say:
After making another round of calls today still don’t hear that anything is close between Jets and Revis. Status quo is what I hear.
So, not long after hearing that the two sides were close to an agreement, we get this bit of news claiming that they may in fact not quite be as close as some might hope. Stay tuned.
