The deal is for seven years and a reported $55 million. There’s thought to be approximately $20 million in guaranteed m, though the specifics of the guaranteed terms have yet to be finalized or made public officially.
Mangold was scheduled to make $3.3 million this season, which will be included as the first year in the new deal. The sides were reported to be closing in on a deal last night, and his representatives flew in this morning to hammer out the final details.
