Analysis: It's official: I'm pulling for a homer tonight so I don't have to do another one of these posts when the Yankees play Tampa Bay tomorrow. All three of Rodriguez's plate appearances against Talbot came earlier this year at Yankee Stadium. He doesn't give up a lot of homers - 11 this year in 119 innings - so don't expect him to give one up. And of course, Rodriguez is still 3-16 with only one homer against the Indians pen in the regular season... so... looks like I'll be writing another one of these posts about Tampa Bay tomorrow.
