The New York Jets have been rumored to have interest in veteran backup quarterback Mark Brunell for a while now. Well, Brunell will be among several quarterbacks who work out for the Jets today, according to NFL.com.
I have no idea if Brunell, 39, can still play. Getting a veteran quarterback to caddy for Mark Sanchez is a good idea, though. The Jets have Super Bowl aspirations, and Kellen Clemens has never really proven trustworthy.
