Morning Coffee: Mets, Bay Finally Figure it Out

Well, you had to figure the Mets would put together a complete effort eventually, right?  Right.  Johan Santana was great over 7 innings, giving up only 1 run.  Jason Bay (!) had a 3-run double in the 8th, Ike Davis homered off an eephus pitch (seriously) and K-Rod pitched an easy night to give the Mets a 6-1 win over the Dodgers to tie the four-game series at one win a piece.  Bay also had a scary moment where he supercollided with the left field fence at Chavez Ravine after making a spectacular catch, but he survived, and the Mets played wonderful defensively all night.  Perhaps this is the worm turning?
