New York Giants' third-round draft pick Chad Jones, who nearly lost his left foot following a horrific car crash a few weeks ago "feels like everything will be OK."
↵That's the word from Jones' father, Al, discussing his son's road to recovery and the myriad of procedures he will have to undergo in the weeks ahead.
↵↵↵“They like what they see with his leg,” Al Jones said. “It’s going to take some time. They still haven’t given us any kind of timetable. There still hasn’t been a decision about how he will be able to come back and perform.
↵“But things are looking good for him.”

Whether Jones plays football again or not is really not important. The fact that signs seem to point toward him having full use of his leg and foot is great news, and that is really what matters.
