There is some speculation about Shaquille O'Neal possibly becoming a New York Knick, following a Twitter report.
I am not buying it. Why would the up-tempo Knicks want the aging, lumbering, barely productive (12 points, 4.9 rebounds per game last season) 38-year-old O'Neal?
Sure, he played for Mike D'Antoni previously in Phoenix. But, that did not work out very well. Shaq was a shell of what he used to be even then, and he is less of a player now.
Knicks' fans should hope there is nothing substantive to this, and that it is just off-season chit-chat.
