The Major League Baseball player draft begins tonight at 7 p.m. ET. Like the NFL, this draft will be a three-day affair. Unlike the NFL, only the hardest of hard-core fans actually knows the first thing about any of these names.
↵Whether you are a fan of the New York Mets or New York Yankees -- or some other God-forsaken team -- it's likely you won't recognize any of the names of players taken by your teams. And you might not hear from them again for years, if ever, as they go off to learn the game in the minor leagues.
