Mets Have Won Four Of Last Five

Flushing, NY (Sports Network) – Ike Davis’s double play ground ball scored Angel Pagan in the bottom of the eighth inning with the game-winning run as the New York Mets rallied for 7-6 comeback win over the Florida Marlins to complete the three-game sweep at Citi Field.

Jeff Francoeur hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning, while Pagan went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI for the Mets, who last swept a three-game series from the Marlins from May 25-27, 2007. New York has won four of five overall and eight straight at Citi Field.

Pedro Feliciano (2-2) was credited with the win for getting the final out of the eighth inning. Mets starter Hisanori Takahashi last 5 1/3 innings and allowed five runs on six hits with a pair of walks and fanned five. Francisco Rodriguez picked up his 12th save of the season with a scoreless ninth.
