New Jersey Deals For Damion James

The Nets clearly really liked the Texas forward, trading up in order to take the 6-foot-7 player, whom the Hawks selected at No. 24 the Nets’ behalf.

James, who seemingly projects to be somewhere between a small and power forward, will probably end up slotting behind Derrick Favors, their first pick of the evening, on their depth chart.

The Nets had to give up the No. 27 and No. 31 picks, who turned out to be Jordan Crawford from Xavier and Tibor Pleiss from Germany.
