The New York Jets have reportedly made a huge contract offer to cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Instead of paying Revis over $16 million per season (more than Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha), the Jets have reportedly added six years to Revis’ existing deal, a total package that, when added to the remaining $21 million Revis is owed would approach $100 million or more.
The deal would average around $12 million per season, and would keep Revis with the Jets until he is 33.
