Trio Of Homers Propel New York To Victory

From MLB.com.

NEW YORK — The Yankees connected for three home runs on an uncharacteristically vulnerable night for Roy Halladay, and CC Sabathia made it all stand up to record his third straight win as New York posted an 8-3 victory over the Phillies in Tuesday’s rematch of the 2009 World Series.

With two former American League Cy Young Award winners on the mound, the Yankees’ bats were the loudest, battering Halladay over six innings to the tune of six runs on eight hits, including home runs from Curtis Granderson, Nick Swisher and Mark Teixeira.
