The New York Knicks finish the 2010 portion of their schedule this week with a pair of difficult road games. The 18-12 Knicks are in Miami Tuesday night to face LeBron James and the 23-9 Heat, then on Thursday they travel to Orlando to face Dwight Howard and the revamped Magic, who are also 18-12.
The Knicks were blown out by the Heat, 113-91, in their previous meeting at Madison Square Garden just more than a week ago.
New York has won its last two games at home, defeating Oklahoma City and Chicago. The Knicks and Magic are currently tied for fifth place in the Eastern Conference. The game against the Magic will be New York's first look at Orlando since it traded away Vince Carter and Rashard Lewis and brought in Gilbert Arenas and Hedo Turkoglu.
Amare Stoudemire is averaging 26.2 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game for the Knicks. Raymond Felton averages 18.3 points and 9.2 assists, Wilson Chandler averages 17.2 points and Danilo Gallinari is at 15.4 points per game.
