New York Knicks Vs. Miami Heat: LeBron James Makes First Visit

The New York Knicks must be back. Their most famous fan, Spike Lee, is talking trash in anticipation of tonight's game at Madison Square Garden vs. LeBron James and the Miami Heat.

"We're gonna kick LeBron's ass," Lee confidently predicted to the Daily News during a book-signing in Brooklyn last night. "We're going to win them all. It's like the old days."
Well, Knicks fans might want to hope it's not exactly like the old days. Back when Lee used to talk trash in the direction of Chicago's Michael Jordan or Indiana's Reggie Miller things generally did not work out so well for New York.

The 16-10 Knicks are coming off a thrilling game Wednesday against Boston, even if it was a 118-116 defeat. "The Knicks have arrived," said Boston's Paul Pierce after the game. "They're going to be a force to reckon with in the division."

The 19-8 Heat, who have won 10 straight, will be another test for the Knicks. The reception for James, who spurned the Knicks to play with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami, should be one of the interesting stories of tonight's encounter.

Knicks star Amare Stoudemire, is not concerned with the reaction to James.
"As long as we keep winning and keep having success, that’s what the fans want to see. That’s important here in New York. LeBron is in Miami. We’re in New York. It’s going to be a battle."
By the way, if you can still find a ticket for tonight's game, you had better be ready to dig deep into your wallet.
