A week after almost cracking the Top 25 in both the AP and USA Today college football polls, Syracuse received just two votes this week.
The Orange (6-3, 3-2 Big East), which lost to Louisville, 28-20, on Saturday, got just two points in the AP poll and none in the USA Today poll.
Last week, Syracuse received 22 points, placing them 27th in the country. In the USA Today poll, Syracuse was 28th with 14 points.
The only Big East team to sniff the Top 25 was first-place Pittsburgh (5-3, 3-0) who received 14 points in the AP poll and five points in the USA Today poll.
For the fourth straight week, Oregon snagged the top spot in both polls. From No. 2 to No. 4, both polls had Auburn, TCU and Boise State. The only difference in the Top 5 was the fifth spot where the USA Today poll had Wisconsin and AP poll listed LSU.
Central Florida, one of many schools which are rumored to be a targeted in the Big East expansion, placed 23rd in the USA Today and 25th in the AP.
