The New Jersey Nets look to end their three-game losing streak tonight when they take their talents to South Beach to take on the Heat. Miami is coming off a loss of their own, a 96-93 nail-biter to the Hornets in New Orleans.
The "Big Three" of Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James are waiting for the Nets, but that is likely a welcome sight for New Jersey's Brook Lopez who is coming off one of the worst shooting nights of his career. He'll try to do it against a thin front line that Emeka Okafor dominated for 26 points and 13 rebounds including an astounding 12-for-13 from the floor.
While Lopez looks to rebound, the rest of the Nets roster will have their hands full. Wade and James combined for 48 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists against the Hornets
Miami is 2-0 at home this season and has won five straight against the Nets. They last met on Halloween at the Prudential Center where the Heat beat New Jersey, 101-78.
