New York Knicks At Charlotte Bobcats: In Search Of .500

The streaking New York Knicks try to get back to the .500 mark tonight in Charlotte, the back end of a home-and-home set of games against the Bobcats. The Knicks (7-8) defeated the Bobcats Tuesday at Madison Square Garden, 110-107.

The Knicks will also be looking for their fifth straight victory, a feat they have not accomplished since the 2006 season.

"It’s great, it lets you know we’re getting our confidence, especially down the stretch. So we’ve just got to continue to keep that confidence high," [Amare] Stoudemire said. "A night like tonight, guys stepped up big in the fourth, which was big for us because I got in a little foul trouble out there, and they stepped up. So we’ve got to go to Charlotte and try to do it again."

The game in Charlotte will bring Knicks point guard Raymond Felton back to where he spent the first five years of his career. Toney Douglas scored 22 points off the bench and all five starters scored in double figures Tuesday night for the Knicks. Amare Stoudemire scored 17 points and Felton contributed 16 and nine assists.
