New York Rangers At Minnesota Wild: Rangers Look To Snap Two Game Skid

The New York Rangers got blown out of Colorado yesterday, in a 5-1 thrashing to the Avalanche. Henrik Lundqvist got pulled, Martin Biron gave up a goal within a minute of him replacing Lundqvist, and the Rangers looked awful.

The one bright spot was Derek Stepan scoring his first goal since his opening night hat trick in Buffalo. The goal gave Stepan a goal and three assists in his last three games. Stepan really seems to be finding his groove again, after his hot seven points in seven games to open the season.

Michael Del Zotto needs to find his groove, after an atrocious game against the Avalanche Friday. The Rangers will also likely be looking for a better game from Alexander Frolov, who needs to pick it up and start playing better consistently.

Marian Gaborik will be looked towards to do some damage tonight, as he returns to Minnesota for the first time since signing with the Rangers. He missed last year's game due to a leg injury. It will be interesting to see how he is treated by his former fans, and his former club.

The Rangers really need a win tonight, so the pressure is on. John Tortorella was not pleased with the way his team played last night so keep an eye on him to make some changes.
