Three Big East Conference teams are in the top 10 in the first AP Top 25 regular season NCAA college basketball rankings.
Pittsburgh is No. 5, Villanova is No. 6 and Syracuse is No. 10. Georgetown is No. 20, making four Big East teams in the overall top 25.
Pitt is already 3-0 on the young season, Syracuse is 2-0 and Villanova and Georgetown are each 1-0.
The top four teams in the poll are Duke, Michigan State, Kansas State and Ohio State.
