New York Rangers At Pittsburgh Penguins: Rangers Look To Continue Hot Streak

Boy what a difference one player makes.

The New York Rangers -- who were having problems scoring and couldn't find a working top line -- suddenly looked Sunday night like the team they were supposed to this year. Marian Gaborik had a hat trick and an assist and Alexander Frolov added two goals and two assists of his own in the Rangers 8-2 rout of the Edmonton Oilers

Derek Stepan also bounced back from a rough transition period for the past few games, posting two assists. Ruslan Fedotenko also had a goal and an assist, and Erik Christensen had three assists of his own.

Christensen showed the biggest improvement with the return of Gaborik, finally starting to show signs of life that he didn't show with Frolov as his only line-mate.

Henrik Lundqvist is expected to start tonight, after dealing with flu-like symptoms which kept him out of the past two games. Biron went 2-0 in the two games he replaced Lundqvist.

Look for the Frolov-Christensen-Gaborik line to still be the top line tonight. Also keep an eye on Artem Anisimov, whose season performance has flown under the radar, but his six goals and eight assists for 14 points is good for second on the team.
