Last week we wondered how high the New York Giants would climb in NFL Power Rankings after their fifth straight victory. Well, today we have to wonder how far the Giants will fall when Week 11 NFL Power Rankings come out on Tuesday.
The Giants (6-3) were abysmal in a 33-20 loss to the 2-7 Dallas Cowboys. SB Nation voters didn't give the Giants much respect a week ago, ranking them No. 7 despite the winning streak. You would have to think the Giants will go tumbling out of the top 10 when the mothership releases its poll findings on Tuesday. Especially since SB Nation voters had Dallas 31st in the 32-team league a week ago.
The New York Jets, meanwhile, were No. 3 in the SB Nation rankings a week ago. They improved to 7-2 Sunday with a 26-20 victory over the Cleveland Browns. While the Jets may have been fortunate to win, they did win and could find themselves No. 1 in the rankings this week.
Last week's top team, the Baltimore Ravens, lost to Atlanta, 26-21, and the No. 2 team, the Green Bay Packers, had a bye. Pittsburgh (No. 4) lost to No. 5 New England, so unless voters push the Patriots all the way to the top Gang Green could find itself as king of the Week 11 mountain.
