The field of 64 – technically 68 – has dwindled to twelve as the 2012 NCAA Tournament has reached the Sweet 16 portion of the Tournament.
Only three of the four one seeds remain, following the Michigan State Spartans' double digit loss to the Louisville Cardinals on Thursday night. Checking in on the other one seeds: Syracuse beat Wisconsin by a point on Thursday, North Carolina takes on 13 seed Ohio on Friday and the odds-on favorite to win it all, the Kentucky Wildcats play the Indiana Hoosiers on Friday. Indiana has already beaten the Wildcats once this season.
