St. John's Vs. Cincinnati: Red Storm Defeats Bearcats, 57-55

The St. John's Red Storm improved to 8-7 and 2-2 in the Big East as they pulled a minor upset on Big East rivals, the Cincinnati Bearcats on a game winning shot as time expired. The loss drops the Bearcats to 12-4 on the season and gives them their first loss in conference play.

With 2:20 remaining the Red Storm led by eight points. The Bearcats went on an 11-3 run from that point on to tie the game at 55 with nine seconds remaining. Red Storm' D'Angelo Harrison missed a shot with one second remaining, only to be tipped in by Moe Harkless as time expired, giving the Red Storm the walk-off victory.

Harkless finished with 12 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks. Harrison finished with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both shot poorly from the field, and the Red Storm shot 43 percent. The Bearcats shot an abysmal 26 percent from the floor.
