St. John's Vs. West Virginia Final Score: Red Storm Snaps Skid With 78-62 Win

The St. John's Red Storm won for just the second time this month on Wednesday night. They beat the visiting West Virginia Mountaineers by a final score of 78-62 in Big East Conference play.

Freshman Moe Harkliss led the way with 23 points and 13 rebounds. He leads the Red Storm in both categories this season. D'Angelo Harrison had 19 points, three assists, four rebounds and one steal. They were two of four players in double figures for the night.

St. John's made more than 48 percent of their shots from the field and hit 75 percent at the line, compared to 35 percent and 58 percent, respectively, for West Virginia.

St. John's snapped a four-game losing skid with tonight's win. They sit at 9-11 for the season, and own a 3-6 record in the Big East. They have a tough game on Saturday, when they travel to face the Duke Blue Devils.
