St. John's Vs. South Florida: Red Storm Loses Third Straight, 64-49

The St. John's Red Storm lost their third game in a row on Wednesday night. The South Florida Bulls used a strong second half on their home court for a 64-49 over the Red Storm in Big East Conference basketball action.

St. John's shot a woeful 39.1 percent from the floor and made just two of 12 three-point attempts in the loss. Moe Harkliss led the team in scoring with 12 points, well off his team-leading average of 15.8 points per game. He also had 8 rebounds, one steal and two blocked shots. God'sgift Achiuwa and Phil Greene were the only other players to score in double figures.

Bulls' forward Victor Rudd had 24 points, including five of seven three-point shots, in the win. He also led his team with nine rebounds.

The loss drops the Red Storm to 2-5 in Big East play and 8-10 overall. They host Villanova on Saturday afternoon.
