West Virginia Vs. Rutgers Final Score: Mountaineers Crush Scarlet Knights Again, 84-60

Behind a game-best 24 points for senior forward Kevin Jones and senior guard Darryl Bryant netting 15 of his 18 in the first half, the West Virginia Mountaineers crushed the visiting Rutgers Scarlet Knights, 84-60, in a Big East Conference men's basketball game at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, WV. The victory was the second one against the Scarlet Knights in just 10 days and could help the Mountaineers (13-5, 4-2 Big East) sneak into the college basketball rankings for the first time this year.

Freshman guard Myles Mack scored a team-best 15 points for Rutgers 10-8, 2-3), which had its two-game winning streak snapped. Freshman guard Eli Carter added 13 points, as Rutgers shot just 3-for-14 from behind the 3-point arc, including missing all nine first-half shots. The Scarlet Knights also committed 19 turnovers and were outrebounded, 45-33.
