Big East Basketball Schedule: UConn Vs. Notre Dame, Marquette Vs. Pittsburgh Highlight Saturday Action

For the second straight Saturday the Big East Conference will feature a full slate of men's basketball games, and lucky for you all of them should be viewable in the New York-New Jersey areas. So, if you're looking for a reason to be a couch potato (after you get done shoveling snow), here's the full TV schedule for Big East basketball.

Connecticut Huskies (-2) at Notre Dame Fighting Irish (11 a.m. on ESPN2): The question of whether or not the host Irish (11-6, 3-1 Big East) are for real or not will be answered in this contest at Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center, where Notre Dame has a 29-game win streak going.

No. 17-ranked UConn (13-3, 3-2) is coming off a solid victory Monday against West Virginia. Before that, the Huskies had dropped two straight to two inferior opponents.

Preview: Rutgers Scarlet Knights at West Virginia Mountaineers (2 p.m. on SNY)

Cincinnati Bearcats (-8) vs. Villanova Wildcats (Noon on SNY): One program (Cincinnati) is off to a solid start in league play, while the other (Villanova) is trying to stay out of the cellar. Don't expect a barn burner here, as the Bearcats (13-4, 3-1) is solid defensively and the Wildcats (8-9, 1-4) can't hit the broad side of a barn right now.

Marquette Golden Eagles (-10) vs. Pittsburgh Panthers (2 p.m. on ESPNU): Marquette (13-4, 2-2) is trying to stabilize its current up-and-down play and make a run back to the top of the Big East standings, while Pitt (10-6, 0-4) is just looking to get out of the basement and snap a five-game losing streak.

Louisville Cardinals (-16) vs. DePaul Blue Demons (4 p.m. on SNY): Nobody could have predicted the slow start of the No. 14 Cardinals (13-4, 1-3) that including a surprising Tuesday night loss to Providence, 90-59. A good way to get back on track is to host a Blue Demons program (10-6, 1-3) that is rebuilding towards a bright future.

Preview: No. 1 Syracuse Orange vs. Providence Friars (6 p.m. on SNY)
