Just hours before the Syracuse University men's basketball program was set to take the court against non-conference opponent Eastern Michigan Tuesday night, a fourth accuser in the Bernie Fine sexual abuse investigation is set to come forward.

Just hours before the Syracuse University men's basketball program was set to take the court against visiting Eastern Michigan Tuesday night, the New York Daily News reported that a fourth accuser is set to come forward in the Bernie Fine sexual abuse investigation. The Daily News' source is Robert Hoatson, who's the president and founder of Road to Recovery, a non-profit organization that supports victims of abuse.

"Hoatson told the Daily News Tuesday that he has spoken with a female family member of an alleged victim of Fine’s, and that the woman has gone to Syracuse Police and the Onondaga County District Attorney’s office with the claims."

The Daily News report does not give a name of the fourth accuser, but does say that the victim was in their early teens when the abuse happened. Hoaston is expected to speak to the media once the victims family talks to the police.

On Sunday, Fine was terminated from his position as assistant coach after information about his alleged sexual abuse of two former ball boys -- Bobby Davis and Mike Lang -- began to gain credibility.

Head coach Jim Boeheim isn't expected to answer questions regarding Fine's firing or the sexual abuse allegations after the game. However, that may be unavoidable with this newest information.
