Cincinnati At Syracuse: Orange Lose Fourth Straight, 30-13

The Syracuse Orange lost their fourth consecutive game today and remain on the outside looking in for College Bowl Season. After a 30-13 loss at the hands of the Cincinnati Bearcats, the Orange now sit at 5-6. They still need one more win to gain bowl eligibility, and it will have to come against the Panthers of Pittsburgh, where they travel to next week.

The Orange had more first downs than the Bearcats, more total yards, fewer penalties, and won time of possession. However; they were inept on third down all day and lost the turnover battle 1-0.

Quarterback Ryan Nassib finished 19-38 for 203 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Running back Antwon Bailey racked up 135 yards on 27 carries.

Syracuse is now 5-6 on the season and 1-5 in the Big East. The travel to Pittsburgh to play the 5-6 Panthers (3-3 in the Big East) next week. An Orange loss will guarantee them at least a share of last place in the Big East.
