The third quarter featured no points as the University of Louisville still leads visiting Syracuse University, 14-3, after three quarters of a Big East Conference game at Papa John's Cardinals Stadium. The Cardinals (3-4, 1-1 Big East) scored two first-quarter touchdowns, both from the air, to take a early advantage, while The Orange (5-2, 1-1) has just posted a second-quarter field goal.
Syracuse, which is trying to become bowl eligible for the second straight year and snap a three-game losing streak to the Cardinals, cannot get anything going on offense. Currently, SU senior quarterback Ryan Nassib, who is 11-of-17 for just 75 yards, is being out played by Louisville's freshman quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who has 196-passing yards and two touchdowns.
Louisville will begin the third quarter with a third-and-four situation on SU's 27-yard line.
