The Missouri Tigers have scored touchdowns on their first two drives of the game, and the result is a 14-3 lead over the Syracuse Orange in a non-conference football game that has come to the conclusion of the first quarter.

Junior quarterback James Franklin is 8-for-9 with 173 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers (5-5, 2-5 SEC), who need a victory to become bowl eligible for a school record eighth straight season.

Wide receivers Dorial Green-Beckham and Jimmie Hunt each have touchdown receptions. Green-Beckham scored on a 70-yard catch-and-run on the fourth play from scrimmage while Hunt scored on the Tigers' second drive from 30 yards out.

On their first possession of the game, the Orange (5-5, 4-2 Big East) managed to move into Missouri territory and setup kicker Ross Krautman for a 44-yard field goal, which he made.

Syracuse will begin the second quarter receiving a punt from Missouri.
