St. John's Vs. DePaul: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The season hasn't gone according to plan for the St. John's Red Storm or the DePaul Blue Demons, who square off Wednesday night in Big East Conference basketball action.

The Johnnies (9-12, 3-6) have lost seven of their last nine, the most recent being a great effort against Duke where they fell just short. It was expected to be a year of learning for St. John's youthful squad and that's exactly what it's been.

For DePaul (11-9, 2-6), the campaign started with promise after back-to-back wins against Texas Tech and Arizona State in November, but the bottom has fell out as of late. The Blue Demons did beat Rutgers in their last game, but lost the five previous games.

This contest should be a good battle for two teams eager for a Big East victory. Moe Harkless and D'Angelo Harrison have led St. John's and they'll have to do it again on the road.

Harkless has been a star early on, averaging over 16 points and eight rebounds per game. Harrison has given some nice punch from the guard spot, averaging 15.8 points per contest.

DePaul struggles to play solid defense for a full 40 minutes. If the Red Storm can get nice ball movement and knock down open shots, they could steal a road win. The Blue Demons will rely on Cleveland Melvin and Brandon Young.

The game can be seen on SNY at 8:30 p.m. ET.
