Stay connected for news and updates

St. John's takes a break from Big East play Saturday afternoon to meet the Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium (12 p.m., ESPN).

St. John's started five freshman during a 78-62 victory Wednesday against West Virginia, believed to be the first time the Red Storm started five first-years since 1927-28. Moe Harkless led the way with 23 points and 13 rebounds as the Frosh Five helped snap a four-game losing skid.

The Red Storm have lost their first seven contests against top 25 teams this season, and Duke enters the game ranked No. 6. The Blue Devils beat Maryland on the road Wednesday, 74-61, and have won five of their past six.
