Rutgers Vs. Cincinnati: Scarlet Knights Up 7-3 After One

The Big East title is still within reach for the Scarlet Knights, but in order to have any chance of capturing the crown, they must defeat the Cincinnati Bearcats today, who have a half game lead on Rutgers in the standings. So far so good for the Scarlet Knights. An early turnover forced by their defense gave them a short field, and their offense capitalized by scoring a touchdown on a Jawan Jamsion run. The Jamison touchdown run put Rutgers up 7-0, but the Bearcats have answered with a field goal, cutting the lead to four. Rutgers lead 7-3 after a quarter.

Quarterback Chase Doddhas completed four of eight passes for 37 yards. The aformentioned Jamison has 30 rushing yards on five carries and a touchdown. Mohamed Sanu has been held to one catch for only two yards.

The remainder of the game can be found on ESPN U.
