Rutgers Vs. Army Final Score: Rutgers Wins, 27-12

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights changed quarterbacks for the second time this season. It worked today, as they defeated Navy by 15 in Yankees Stadium, keeping hopes for a Big East title alive.

In a non-conference game played at Yankees Stadium on Veteran's Day weekend The Rutgers Scarlet Knights defeated the Army Black Knights, 27-12.

Quarterback Chas Dodd came off the bench last week and rallied the Scarlet Knights to a comeback overtime victory over South Florida. It was his first game action since being benched following week 4. The comeback victory earned Dodd the start this week and he finished 17-of-27 for 196 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Receiver Mohamed Sanu had another monster game, catching 13 passes for 129 yards.

The Scarlet Knights survived multiple mistakes en route to the 15-point victory. The had two turnovers, missed a field goal and an extra point. The game wasn't as much of a blowout as the final score indicates. It was 13-12 late in the fourth until a late special teams touchdown helped ice the game, followed by a 56-yard scamper by Jawan Jamison in the midst of Rutgers attempt to work the clock.

The win improves Rutgers record to 7-3 overall and 4-2 in the Big East, keeping hope alive for the Big East title. The Scarlet Knights host the 23rd ranked Cincinnati Bearcats next week and finish the season at UConn. Big East leader West Virginia hosts Pittsburgh in two weeks and finishes the season at South Florida.
