Rutgers cracked the BlogPoll once again after a week out of the top 25, moving back in at the No. 24 spot thanks to losses by other teams.
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights moved back into the Week 11 edition of the BlogPoll, returning in the No. 24 spot despite a bye week thanks to losses by other teams.
At 7-1, Rutgers certainly has enough wins to be considered in the top 25, and did earn a No. 23 spot in the BCS as well. But they don't have really any quality wins - none of the team's they've beaten are .500 or better - and the one loss they have was in their most recent game against Kent State. Nothing against the Golden Flashes, who are 8-1 and hold the 27th spot in the BlogPoll, but Rutgers' 35-23 loss to a team from the MAC featuring six interceptions by Gary Nova was not a good argument for Rutgers' resume.
The other Big East team to crack the BlogPoll was Louisville - the 9-0 Cardinals moved up a spot to No. 11 after their victory over Temple. Oregon notably moved up to No. 2 from No. 3, passing Kansas State, while Alabama and Notre Dame held steady at No. 1 and No. 4 respectively.
