The Scarlet Knights gained two spots in the latest SB Nation BlogPoll.
SB Nation released its latest college football BlogPoll Tuesday, and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights are ranked 22nd. According to the poll, the spot is better than last week's ranking of No. 24.
On Saturday, Scarlet Knights defeated the Army Black Knights, 28-7, at High Point Solutions Stadium. The victory helped Rutgers improve its record to 8-1 overall and was impressive enough to earn extra points in the latest poll.
Overall, the Oregon Ducks claimed the No. 1 ranking after the Alabama Crimson Tide were upset on Saturday. Slotted below Oregon was Kansas State (No. 2), Notre Dame (No. 3), Alabama (No. 4) and Georgia (No. 5).
The rest of the top 10 featured Florida (No. 6), Florida State (No. 7), LSU (No. 8), Ohio State (No. 9) and Texas A&M, which moved up 10 spots after defeating Alabama, 29-24.
The program that dropped the most was the Louisville Cardinals, who lost to the Syracuse Orange, 45-26, and are now ranked No. 19 after being 11 last week.
