The No. 15 Rutgers Scarlet Knights are officially on upset watch.

The Temple Owls currently lead Rutgers 10-0 at halftime, and have dominated the first half of play.

Temple put the game's first points on the board with 36 seconds left to go in the first quarter, when Chris Coyer threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Cody Booth, giving Temple a 7-0 lead. The Owls added a field goal with 1:10 left to go in the half.

Rutgers' offense has struggled against Temple's defense. Rutgers quarterback Gary Nova is just 5-of-12 passing for 56 yards in the first half. Nova has also thrown an interception. Jawan Jamison leads Rutgers in the ground game with nine carries for 41 yards.

Temple, meanwhile, has run the ball 26 times through the first half, gaining 81 yards. Montel Harris leads Temple with 14 carries for 50 yards.

Rutgers will receive the ball to start the second half, as the Scarlet Knights look to put some points on the board, and avoid continued talk of an upset.
